RISE OF THE BLOOD MOON

Book One of the Dark Trinity Chronicles, told across three acts. Each a self-contained movement; together, the prelude to a war that will shape the age.

Rise of the Blood Moon
Act I

Rise of the Blood Moon

The crown is heavy. The walls are old. Something ancient stirs at the gates of Camelot.

Camelot is the last bastion of humanity — a kingdom of runic walls and enchanted steel standing against a world the old order broke and abandoned. Beyond its gates, the Vael hunt the borders, and in the mountains far to the northeast, the eldest of vampires watches and waits.

When border attacks escalate and Queen Guinevere begins to slip into dreams she cannot name, Arthur is forced to accept what Merlin has long warned: Camelot cannot survive without Excalibur, and Excalibur will not yield to a king who does not believe himself worthy.

The Quest for Excalibur
Act II

The Quest for Excalibur

Only the worthy may wield the sword. The cost of becoming worthy is everything else.

Arthur and Merlin pass beyond the maps, into the warded mountains that hide the Sanctuary of Excalibur. The sword calls, but it does not call gently — and the trials it sets are not battles to be won, but truths to be faced.

Behind him, his court fractures. Lancelot and Guinevere are pulled into a misreading the whole kingdom believes. Mordred carries a blade he does not understand. And in the keep beyond the mountains, the long design begun in Act I begins to take its shape.

Rise of the Blood Moon — Finale
Act III

Rise of the Blood Moon — Finale

On the night the moon turns red, three powers converge — and an heir is born.

The blood moon is rising. Beneath it the Vael surge to their full strength, the veil between powers thins, and every long-laid scheme reaches for its hour. As Arthur steps into the sanctuary to claim Excalibur in the light, in the queen's chamber far away, the dark works its own design.

Camelot will be besieged. A traitor will be unmasked. A child will be born who should not exist — half of light and half of dark — and the prophecy the Order tried to bury will rise with him.
